Condolence From: Brian Proctor
Condolence: I did not know about Denny's passing until last night. I have been distracted with health issues within my own family recently. I considered Denny to be a good friend who I socialized with. Maureen and Scott, please accept my deep condolences.

Condolence From: Donna Heatherly
Condolence: While it has been many years since our families have spent time together, I still remember with much fun as all the times through the early years that we joined together. Lauren and Sara became fast friends in first grade at EK. They would spend nearly every Friday night at each other's house, Reading books and playing games. Denny and Maureen welcomed Lauren, not only into their home, but into their hearts! It is true that it takes a village to raise a child, and Denny was an excellent example of that. A sincere caring for others came natural to him. So many wonderful memories ... I remember an EK Halloween festival when Denny and Mike may have spoke the little goblins a bit too much with an authentic coughing, dry ice smoke and a bloody vampire. Mike and Denny coached Booster basketball together and they made a good team always encouraging the girls to do their best but more importantly to have fun. The memories that I cherish most are those years supporting the dance team at encore, traveling to several states beaming with pride and having the time of our lives! The man went deep-sea fishing then gladly grilled seafood together in Myrtle Beach listening to "We Are The Champions" while sipping, laughing and preparing our daughters for the next days' competition. I can still see that infamous dad's dance where all the men dressed like women. Denny really got into that act, just like you did everything, giving his all. He embraced life and friends that he met, old and new. His concern for my daughters was authentic. He always had a kind world and a smile for me too. The years went by, or lives changed, and we never spent time with each other. But when I ran into Denny last spring, the first thing he asked me was how Lauren and Heather were doing. I had no idea about his diagnosis, and was stunned to hear about it. My heart is heavy and I am sad. Sad for Denny, as I know he was not ready to leave everyone he loves so much, and sad for his family who must say goodbye much too soon. I know that the love and close bond of the Blumberg family will be an anchor to get you all through this time of anguish.

Condolence: Blumberg Family, I am at a loss as what to say. Everyone that had met Denny knows that they met a caring, loving soul. He wasn't the man that built our house, he was a friend. His gift was being able to connect to people, he had a way to make you feel special. I know that without a doubt he built every home with the passion and love as it it were his own. I just wish I had the chance to tell him how happy he made our family. My sincerest condolences to his whole family. He will be missed.

Condolence: Our condolences go to the Blumberg family on this hard time. We are glad we got to meet Denny for the short time that we did. We will have a good memory of him. We know we didn't get to spend a lot of time with him, but he made us feel like our dream was possible, and that's what we needed. We will pray for your family Denny and that they fight through during this hard time. May you rest in peace Sir and may God have you in his glory.
