The death of a family member involves paperwork. In fact, almost from the very moment of their passing, there are important documents which must be located. Unfortunately, these documents are not typically something that is carried around or often even easy to locate. Below is a list of some of the documents you may need during your appointment with the Funeral Director at the Funeral Home.

• Birth Date and Place
• Social Security Number
• Recent Photograph
• Marital Status
• Military Discharge Papers
• Funeral Pre-Need Plan Papers
• Deeds to Cemetery Property
• Life or Funeral Insurance Policies
• List of the Names of Surviving Relatives (and Locations of Residence)
• List of Siblings, Children, and Grandchildren (and Locations of Residence)
• Parents full names, and Mother’s maiden name
• List of Organizations, and Hobbies
• Music List for the Service
• Draft of the Obituary
• List of Pallbearers
• Clothing for the Viewing
• Between 30-50 Photographs for the Memorial Tribute
