Marie A. Harvey, nee Verme, 62, of O’Fallon, IL, born July 21, 1955 in St. Louis City, MO peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of her family on August 16, 2017 in Creve Coeur, MO.

Marie was a friend to many in her careers with the Department of Defense and Wells Fargo Advisors, and an inspiration to hundreds in her association with the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network. Marie was passionate in her support of family and friends, a Giver to all, and First Assistant to Santa Claus.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Verme, nee Basone.

She is survived by her beloved husband, partner and best friend, Michael C. Harvey of O'Fallon IL; she was the cherished daughter of Anthony Verme of Fairview Heights, IL; a loving mother and guide to Rebecca (Ryan) Westrich of Wentzville, MO; an elvish stepmother to Sarah and Elizabeth Harvey of Overland Park, KS; a devoted sister of Arthur (Cheri) Verme of Florissant, MO and Lela (Robert) Satterfield of Oceanside, CA; a doting grandmother to Cate Westrich and Allie Westrich; and “Aunt Marie” to Autumn Rebillot of St Louis, MO, Christopher Verme of Goldsboro, NC, Kim Blancett and Jeff Sonntag of St Louis, MO.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Schildknecht Funeral Home, 301 South Lincoln Avenue, O’Fallon, IL 62269.

Funeral services will be held at Blessed Savior Lutheran Church, 1205 N Lincoln Ave, O'Fallon, IL 62269 at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 19, 2017 with Pastor Vern Lentvent officiating.

Private interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
