Lillian O. Krupp “Lil” , 95 of O’Fallon, IL, born in Marissa, IL, passed away Friday June 3, 2016 at St. Paul’s Home in Belleville, IL.
Lil was a longtime resident of O’Fallon and member of O’Fallon United Church of Christ, where she was founder and President of the 50+ Club for many years and member of the Women’s Guild. She was a charter member of the AAFES Retired Employees Association (Army Air Force Exchange Service), following a career at Scott Air Force Base where she was a merchandise buyer. She was active in the community as a lifetime member of the Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, volunteering as a “Pink Lady”; involved with other organizations including O’Fallon Woman’s Club; O’Fallon Sportsman’s Club; AARP and PSOP.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Charles Krupp Jr., parents; George and Anna Marie Knecht nee Petri, brother; Virgil Knecht; sister; Eda Kraus, brother-in-law; Ernest Kraus, sister-in-law; Eleanor Knecht.
She is survived by 1 nieces and 4 nephews; Steven (Joan) Kraus of Millstadt, IL, Donna (Robert) Patterson of Millstadt, IL, David (Sandy) Kraus of Coconut Creek, FL, Terrance (Jeanne) Knecht of Iowa City, Iowa, Dennis (Vera) Knecht of Hudson, MASS. 5 great neices; Kathy Longo, Dawn Kraus, Susan Karraker, Karen Kraus, Teresa Knecht, 3 great- great nephews; Lucas Karraker, Samuel Karraker, Enzo Longo, 1 great-great niece Emily Kraus and several cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 7, 2016 from 4:00 pm -8:00 pm at Schildknecht Funeral Home, 301 S. Lincoln Ave. O’Fallon, IL. 62269
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with The Rev. Dr. Martha Thierheimer officiating.
Entombment will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory Mausoleum in Belleville, Illinois.
