Rosine Mays, age 92, of O’Fallon, IL, born on November 12, 1922, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 in Shiloh, IL.

Rosine was born in London, England. She was one of the original War Brides of WWII. She was a member of the British Land Army during WWII, and a member of the British Wives Club of Fayetteville, NC.

She enjoyed knitting and gardening. She had a deep love for all animals, with a fond affection for cats.

Rosine was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert Randall and Evelyn Randall, nee McKenna and her husband, Dail Mays.

Rosine is survived by her children, Chris (Sue) Mays of Fredericksberg, VA and Jeff (Martha) Mays of O’Fallon, IL; three grandchildren, Chris (Karen) Mays, Sean (Vickie) Mays and Ashley (Mary Yahl) Mays, and four great grandchildren.

A private inurnment will be held at a later date in Layetteville, N.C.
