Joyce Helen Eversman, 80, of O’Fallon, IL, born May 19, 1937, in Caseyville Township, IL, passed away at St. Paul’s Senior Community in Belleville, IL on April 9, 2018.
Joyce retired from Monsanto Company after many years of service. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, O’Fallon, IL, and volunteered as an Eucharistic Minister at Memorial Hospital East. Joyce also worked as a volunteer at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville, IL. She loved the St. Nicholas faith community and particularly enjoyed the Bible sessions.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Francis X. and Helen Eversman, nee Baldus; her twin sisters, Dorothy “Dotty” Burcham, Dolores “Dee” Sahr; brothers-in-law, Robert Burcham, and Edward Sahr.
Surviving are a brother, Frank J. (Kim) Eversman of O’Fallon, IL; and many nieces and nephews.
The family wants to thank Family Hospice and St. Paul’s Senior Community in Belleville, IL who showed such care and love for Joyce which was a huge comfort to the family.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, 625 St. Nicholas Drive, O’Fallon, IL 62269.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the church with Msgr. William Hitpas officiating.
Interment will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Fairview Heights, IL. At Joyce’s request, her body was cremated.
