Lisa Satulla Whitaker, 55, of Belleville, IL, born Friday, May 18, 1962 in Dover, DE, passed away at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL on Tuesday, April 24, 2018.

Lisa had a true passion for live music. She enjoyed going to venues with her friends to listen to their favorite local bands. She was an animal lover and especially loved cats. In Lisa’s spare time you could find her enjoying time spent in nature while camping and being outdoors. Anybody who knew Lisa would agree that she was definitely child of the 60’s. She will be remembered for her optimistic personality and her beautiful smile that she always wore.

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Susan Satulla, nee Hover; maternal grandparents, Farris and Gladys Hoover; paternal grandparents, Andrew and Edna Satulla; son, Christopher Michael McGuirk; granddaughter, Annabelle Morris; and aunt, Beck Schnieder.

Surviving are two children, Bob Morris of Belleville, IL, Jennifer Whitaker of St. Louis, MO; one brother, Stephen Satulla of Belleville, IL; three sisters, Debbie (Craig) Schmidt of O’Fallon, IL, Kathleen Fulton of Belleville, IL; Tina (John) Kusler of Las Vegas, NV; two grandchildren, Sarah McGuirk of Baltimore, MD, Russell Morris of Belleville, IL; great-grandchild, Abrianna No’elle McGuirk; best friends, Julie Cook of O’Fallon, IL, Donna Weeks of Belleville, IL; numerous nieces and nephews.
