Willard “Bud” Norman Evans, 74, of Fairview Heights, IL, born Tuesday, December 28, 1943 in Boyne City, MI passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.
Bud served in the United States Air Force. After his time in the Air Force he began work focusing on logistics in the civil service sector of the United States Government. Bud attended Christ United Methodist Church in Fairview Heights, IL. He was an avid bowler and participated in numerous leagues including, the Monday morning “I Don’t Care League”, the Wednesday “Turkey Dancer League”, and the Friday “Senior Bowlers League”.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Sue Evans, nee Paggeot; first wife, Judy Evans, nee Marsack; four sisters, Margie Baxter, Sally Evans, Trixie Evans, and Tina Evans.
Bud is survived by his second wife, Janice M. Evans, nee Witte; seven children, Ronda (Michael) Bennett of MI, James (Nora) Evans of MI, David (Sherry) Evans of St. Charles, MO, Julie Davis of St. Louis, MO, Steve (Libby) Stanton of O’Fallon, IL, Debra Stanton of FL, Cindy Stanton of Collinsville, IL; three brothers, James Evans of MI, Conrad Evans of MI, Steve Evans of MI; and eighteen grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Schildknecht Funeral Home 301 South Lincoln Avenue O’Fallon, Illinois 62269.
Funeral Service will be at Schildknecht Funeral Home on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Shane Bishop officiating.
Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill, MO.
A luncheon will be held after burial on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 1:30 at Christ United Methodist Church, 339 Frank Scott Pkwy East, Fairview Heights, IL 62208.
