Ronald C. Spradling, 68, of O’Fallon, IL, born November 17, 1948 in St. Louis, MO passed away on October 17, 2017 in St. Louis, MO with his family by his side.

Ron was a Veteran of the United States Navy. After serving in the Navy, he worked as a Sodexo HVAC Technician at McKendree University. Ronald enjoyed playing softball. He played in the Navy and was a previous basketball referee and softball coach for the O’Fallon Park Board. He was a past member of the O’Fallon Boosters and the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society. He enjoyed vacationing in Branson, MO. He loved the outdoors where you could always find him camping, fishing, boating, or telling one of his favorite stories.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Dolores Spradling, nee Smith; brothers, Kevin Spradling, Richard Spradling; and father-in-law, Elmer Kaemmerer.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Judy Kaemmerer of O’Fallon, IL; four children, Ronnie Spradling of O’Fallon, IL, Stephanie Spradling of O’Fallon, IL, Trent Spradling of O’Fallon, IL, Chrisie (Aaron) Klemme of Millstadt, IL; three brothers, Don (Linda) Spradling of O’Fallon, IL, Larry (Mary) Spradling of O’Fallon, IL, John (Ceil) Spradling of Red Bud, IL; one aunt, Florence Apple of Springfield, MO; mother-in-law, Mary Ann Kaemmerer of Belleville, IL; and three grandchildren, Aaron O’Bryan, Melanie Klemme, and Mallory Klemme.

Memorial visitation will be held on Friday October 20, 2017 from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM at Winstanley Baptist Church, 9471 IL-161, Fairview Heights, IL 62208.

Memorial service will be held on Friday October 20, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Winstanley Baptist Church with Dr. Steve Phillips officiating.
