Obituary for Norman Floyd Reeves

Norman Floyd  Reeves
Norman Floyd Reeves, 77, of Shiloh, IL, born March 25, 1940 in Anderson, IN passed away on June 29, 2017.

Norman retired from the United States Air Force as a Chief Master Sergeant. He was active duty in the Vietnam War and received the Silver Star for military honors. Norman was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. He had a strong passion for going hunting and shooting.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Arzella Reeves, nee McClurg; two sisters, Mary McColley and Betty Deeds; and two brothers, Cecil Reeves and Gilbert Reeves.

He is survived by his wife, Judith Reeves, nee Abernathy; three children, Eric (Tina) Reeves, from Woodbridge, VA, Craig Reeves from Anderson, IN, and Lisa (Chris) Meyer from Cathedral City, CA; one sister, Patricia Doane; two brothers, John Reeves and Jimmy Reeves; five grandchildren, Nicholas Reeves, Zachary Reeves, Amy Reeves, Adam Meyer and Aaron Meyer; and great grandchildren.

As part of his caring spirit, Norman made a donation of his body to education through Washington University School of Medicine.
