Randel Harold Lewis, 67, of Shiloh, IL, born July 20, 1949, in Rector, Arkansas, passed away on March 31, 2017.
Randel enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He was very devoted to his family, especially his grandchildren. After serving his country in the Army, he became a veterans’ advocate.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Vestal and Edith Lewis, nee Fowler; one sister, Cassandra Lewis, and two brothers, Vestal “Gene” Lewis, Jr. and William “David” Lewis.
Randel is survived by his wife; Bonnie Lewis, children; Randel “Don” Lewis of Shiloh, IL, Michele (Owen) Seibel of O’Fallon, IL and Jeanie Marie (Adam) Gonczy of Shiloh, IL, and 11 grandchildren; Aaron McAbee, Justin McAbee, Austin McAbee, Cheyanne McAbee, Hayden Turner, Alyssa Baker, Alex Fulton, Kyle Fulton, Chase Fulton, Addison Seibel and Olivia Seibel.

Memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 pm – 7:30 pm on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Schildknecht Funeral Home, 301 S. Lincoln Ave., O’Fallon, IL 62269.
Memorial services will be held at the funeral home at 7:30 pm on Friday, April 7, 2017 with Pastor Brian Downs officiating.
