Janet Kay Wallace, 64, of O’Fallon, IL, born March 2, 1952 in Shelbyville, IL, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2017.

Janet retired from Bridal Originals as a customer service representative. She was devoted to her family, and especially sharing time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling and scrapbooking.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents; Clyde “Jim” and Carolyn Wallace, nee Lenz; a son, Michael Latch; brother, John Wallace; and sister, Carole Miller.

Janet is survived by her daughter, Kerri (Jeremy) Wells of O’Fallon, IL; brother, Don (Pat) Wallace of Strasburg, IL; and sisters, Nancy (Tim) Hill of Collinsville, IL and Maxine Wallace of Stewardson, IL; two grandchildren, Ashton and Aidan Wells; her significant other, Dennis Elson; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 4:00pm – 8:00pm at O’Fallon First Baptist Church 1111 East Highway 50, O’Fallon, IL 62269, and Friday, January 20, 2017 from 12:00pm – 1:00pm at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 511 Walnut Street, Strasburg, IL 62465.

Funeral service will be held Friday, January 20, 2017 at 1:00pm at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 511 Walnut Street, Strasburg, IL with Pastor Steven Becker officiating.

Burial will follow at Windsor Cemetery, Illinois 32, Windsor, IL.
